Environmental Research and Development Alternatives (ERDA) is a private, non-profit and non-political development and research institute, founded in 1998 by a group of patriots and philanthropists to achieve a hazard-free and pollution-free ecosystem where human and other livings beings can enjoy their necessary rights.

To achieve that goal, we have been working on sustainable environmental management, climate change adaptation, human resource development, natural resources management and biodiversity conservation, which supports socio-economic change in the people living in poverty.

ERDA currently operates in three major geographical areas of Bangladesh i.e. Dhaka capital city, north central district Tangail, south coastal district Lakshmipur and South-west district Khulna.
